Maciej Dakowicz: Brief research

The other day, I was looking at a street Photography book and I discovered an artist called Maciej Dakowicz. I found his works interesting because of the candid situations they were taken in. The book featured his works of Cardiff "After Party" night shoots (published in book called Cardiff after dark). Maciej is based in London and he holds a PhD in Computer Science but he abandoned Science to focus on Photography. What appealed me to his photographs were the unusual colours of the street light the camera captured  and drunken reality of night life. You can almost hear the drunk people talk and laugh from the photographs and it felt like the photographs spoke the chaos of the night life.
Just like Bruce Gilden said, if you can smell the street by looking at the photo it's a street photography!
